The Cafe is where we can come together and share and help one another with their miniature hobby, our discussion forums. Please note that any hard selling is not permitted. You are welcome to share where you got something, but please don't blatantly advertise your products unless we have a special forum section for that or an event that allows it. You will need to register an account to participate though.
The Cafe and our email list sign-up are NOT the same thing. I had this foam pumpkin kicking around for over a year. So this Thanksgiving I spent some time turning it into a room box. I struggled a lot in photographing it, as my studio was all torn up so I was stuck with my phone and light from outside.
I imagine a little gnome or something lives there part of the season.
Question - do you all keep your boxes intact? I tend to think of something, make it, then steal pieces from it the next time I think of something.
This is so cute! I usually stick things down with Museum Putty... that way its not permanent.
Maybe a few LED lights inside would help with lighting?
I have a similar pumpkin that I hope to one day turn into some kind of scene too. I love what you did. I have more ideas and stuff than time left in a day to create.
